Forge Motorsport EGR replacement kit. This kit is like no other for the T5 5 cylinder 2.5 diesel engine.   It not only removes the restriction of the EGR valve but also fixes the common oil leak issue with the OEM hose and coupler.     The Forge in house CNC machined EGR adapter, blanking cap and hose coupler complete with oil resistant hose addresses all issues providing the most comprehensive kit available.     No cutting of original hoses required.     The removal of the EGR valve, even those which are working perfectly, will give an increase in power, but most of the EGR valves after a period of time, compounded by those vehicles used on short journeys, will partially block and lead to power loss and poor running if they are not cleaned or replaced. This really is a worthwhile modification.      Please be aware the engine management light will come on and the glow plug light will flash, which will not effect  the way the vehicle drives. This EGR replacement pipe is a direct fit replacement for the 2.5 TDI 5 cylinder engine found in: VW Transporter with engine code BNZ (130bhp) and BPC (174bhp) VW Toureg with engine code BPD (163bhp) and BPE (174bhp) VW Crafter with engine codes BJJ (88bhp), BJK (109bhp),BJL (136bhp) and BJM (164bhp) Over time the standard EGR becomes choked with a carbon and oil mix which massively reduces the efficiency of the engine and ultimately can cause the EGR assembly to fail which is a costly part to replace from Volkswagen. Our replacement doesn’t allow exhaust gases back into the intake so immediately removes the carbon build up, whilst at the same time allowing no pre-heated air into the engine so it helps performance on two levels. As a result you may well see an improvement in fuel consumption too ! The pipe itself is made from a single piece billet (no welds) and comes complete with a new o-ring seal, and a blanking plate with gasket, for complete removal of the exhaust recirculation pipe from the engine bay. NOTE: removal of the vehicles EGR valve will result in a check engine light, and depending on model the glow plug light may flash. This does not adversely harm or effect the way in which the vehicle drives at all. This can be mapped out by most remapping companies. EGR valve blanking plate This kit allows the removal of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve on the following vehicles. Volkswagen: Beetle 2002-2010 with the BEW or ATD 1.9 Diesel engine. Camper 2004-2010 with the BRR or BRS 1.9 Diesel engine. Transporter 2006-2010 with the BRR or BRS 1.9 Diesel engine. Forge Motorsport intercooler VW T5. Uprated front mounting intercooler for the VW T5 bus or van variants. Although significantly larger than the original intercooler this unit is a direct plug in replacement requiring no additional hoses or pipework. With a larger front cross sectional area the cooling / power recovery is improved. The unit offers a lower resistance, compared to OEM without adding turbo lag. This intercooler has been specifically designed for the VW T5.2 fitted with the twin turbo diesel. Using a combination of geater core size and thermal efficiency, we have been able to improve the cooling of the intake charge air, which inturn means more power , when compared to the original intercooling, and may lead to greater longevity of engine components, as heat related stress is decreased. Our own test vehicle consistantly showed that our intercooler reduced the intake air temperature by a futher 10 degrees centigrade when compared to the original intercooler and had a lower resistance resulting in less pressure drop. This product would normally be recommended for those who have tuned the engine by using performance software or a tuning box type interceptor, but it may also aid fuel economy depending on driving style. This Oil Cooler kit has been specifically designed to fit the VW T5 fitted with the twin turbo diesel engine (180hp).   The kit includes a Mocal * filter sandwich adaptor which incorporates a thermostat, so that the additional cooling only takes place when required. Silicone Boost Hoses for VW T5 Van 130PS/174PS  2003-2009 Rød Blå eller Sort   A set of four silicone boost hoses for the VW T5 van fitted with the 2500cc 130PS engine (BNZ code) and the 174PS engine (BPC code). VW Transporter T5.1 / T6 CAA / CCH EGR Blanking Kit for 2.0 TDI (Excluding CFCA) EGR & Cooler Delete   This Kit Blanks off the EGR Valve and Exhaust Manifold Once you have blanked off the EGR at the Inlet Manifold and Exhaust Manifold you can also remove the EGR cooler. To do this you can reroute and join the stock coolant hoses together. Please Note: Once blanked off the vehicles ECU will no longer get a signal from the EGR Valve causing the emissions workshop light to appear on the dash board. We can remove this by reprogramming the EGR software on the ECU. The blanking plates should be installed on the turbo and inlet manifold, only the turbo requires a gasket, the inlet manifold rubber seal is retained. Once you have blanked off the EGR at the inlet manifold and exhaust manifold you can also remove the EGR cooler. To do this you can reroute and join the stock coolant hoses.
